The adventure began with an early morning arrival, followed by a invigorating 5km hike through the stunning Karoo Valley Nature Reserve. As the group wound down after their hike, they treated themselves to a delightful gin tasting experience at African Relish, accompanied by a delicious pizza dinner.
It was the perfect way to soak up the serene beauty of this picturesque valley, leaving them feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The Wedding Day
The morning of the wedding began with the bridal party preparing at Mirtehof Estate, a luxurious 4-Star venue located in Prince Albert. As they got ready, the excitement was palpable. The ceremony took place at an intimate and awe-inspiring location nestled amidst the majestic mountains of Swartberg Pass, about 10 kilometers outside town. The breathtaking scenery created a truly unique atmosphere, as if the mountains were enveloping them in their grandeur.

Upon arrival, they were treated to sundowners and a lively performance by a talented saxophonist, providing the perfect setting for congratulations and celebrations.
As the evening progressed, guests made their way into the reception area where they indulged in a family-styled dinner and savored the sweet taste of locally crafted Lemon Sorbet from Old Eden Ice Cream – a truly unforgettable culinary experience.
