To mark this occasion, Kelly Kreates teamed up with industry experts to bring you an unforgettable styled shoot at Hazendal Wine Estate’s breathtaking glass venue – the perfect setting for your special day. This modern masterpiece was crafted specifically for the bold bride who craves a little color and texture to make her celebration truly unforgettable.

Of course, we also celebrate the classic beauty of traditional whites, greens, and pinks, but this styled shoot is all about pushing boundaries and creating an experience that’s tailored just for you and your loved ones. INSPIRATION

As the vibrant hues of spring unfold, we drew inspiration from nature’s canvas, infusing youthful energy into our creations. The harmonious blend of sunny yellow and lavender lilac, two dreamy shades that unexpectedly merge into a sophisticated whole, caught our eye. We looked no further than New York and Paris’ spring collections for validation – their designs speak volumes about the season’s effortless charm.

Spring is a time of rebirth, when the soft light beckons us to revel in vibrant celebrations. Our styled shoot aimed to capture this essence, weaving together an array of colours and textures that embody the season’s carefree spirit.

FLOWERS

As guests entered the Hazendal Wine Estate, they were met with a vibrant celebration of flowers that harmoniously merged modern design with natural beauty. The dyed asparagus fern installation, floating above the ground, served as a striking focal point, guiding their gaze towards the stunning surroundings and architecture of the estate.

To further enhance the visual impact, a thoughtfully curated approach was taken to table florals, featuring a lush garden that grew upwards along the table, drawing attention to the exquisite table setting. The pièce de résistance was a colorful floral installation on each table, carefully crafted by the talented Grand Botanist who sourced all locally grown flowers, bringing an added touch of authenticity and charm to the overall design.

FURNITURE

The customisation of our furniture was entrusted to the talented team at Event Architect, renowned for their exceptional attention to detail in delivering bespoke results. The malawian chairs were given a fresh coat of paint, carefully selected to harmoniously complement the overall theme and add an extra splash of colour.

In recent years, pastel hues have been all the rage in wedding design, but now couples are taking it to the next level by experimenting with bold and innovative colour combinations. Our yellow and lilac scheme exudes a playful, vibrant energy that can be tailored to fit any couple’s unique style.

STATIONERY

When it comes to personalizing your event, stationery plays a crucial role in setting the tone and style. Kelly Kreates emphasizes the importance of customizing stationery to reflect the couple’s unique identity. By doing so, you can redefine the entire event. To achieve this level of customization, we’ve opted for a non-traditional approach by replacing traditional tablecloths and runners with a bespoke vinyl design that creates a vibrant spring-inspired foundation for each table.

This bold choice requires careful consideration to ensure that additional elements complement the backdrop seamlessly, without competing with it. To achieve this level of cohesion, our vinyls were carefully crafted to match the dimensions of our arches and curved tables. Additionally, Eezy Print went above and beyond by printing our menu cards on stunning foam.

ACCESSORIES

To add a touch of sophistication to the wedding table, we opted for a bold foundation that was then balanced with subtle whites and nudes in our crockery and napkins. To elevate the overall glamour, we incorporated gold accents through our cutlery, while the stunning royal Diane glass cut and French-inspired glassware from Hire Haus and Muse Decor brought an air of opulence to the setting.

THE BRIDE

As our radiant bride slipped into her whimsical Violette Gown by Temple by Bo & Luca, she was transformed into a goddess-like presence. The stunning silhouette accentuated her natural beauty, making her feel like the best version of herself. Esther Verkuil’s soft spring waves and Carina Pereira’s masterful makeup work perfectly complemented the bride’s striking features, including her freckles and fiery locks.
