Gold Mine Wedding Inspiration
Gold Mine Wedding Inspiration
With E. E. Cummings’ tender words, ‘You are my sun, my moon, and all of my stars,’ Golden Lily Photography’s exquisite contribution to our Gold Mine Wedding Inspiration series shines bright, illuminating the path for couples seeking wedding ideas that sparkle with romance. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Mizelle, whose artistic vision has inspired countless love stories.
As we share this treasure trove of inspiration, we invite you to reflect on what resonates most with your own unique love story.
The Dream Team
As I reflect on this captivating minimalist art-deco inspired shoot, I’m reminded of the incredible team effort that brought it to life. The talented vendors I had the pleasure of working with truly impressed me with their innovative approach and unwavering commitment to the theme. It was an absolute delight to connect with like-minded professionals in the industry, and I wouldn’t hesitate to collaborate on another project in the future.
Wedding Decor Art Deco Inspiration
Mizelle expressed her gratitude to Carmen from Bellflower Studios, who conceptualized the project. The gold mines in the East Rand region were established during the late Victorian era. As Art Deco emerged shortly thereafter, the local economy flourished, and this style became a hallmark of architecture and design. To reflect this era, the design incorporated a palette of nude tones accented with gold, along with Art Deco shapes and styles.
What distinguishes this concept from traditional wedding ideas is its focus on being an art installation rather than a straightforward event theme.
Wedding Dress Inspiration
For Estelle Visser Designs, Mizelle had always harbored a desire to capture one of their exquisite creations on camera. When she finally got to see the dress in person, it was love at first sight – the sleeves were truly showstopping! Her admiration for the designer’s skill is unwavering, and she would wholeheartedly recommend Estelle Visser Designs to any bride-to-be seeking a masterpiece for their special day.
Bridal Hair & Makeup Inspiration
To complement Danielle’s features, we opted for a soft, natural makeup look that accentuated her inherent beauty. Nelizé from The Ultimate Image was the mastermind behind this stunning transformation. Charlize from C-Morr Hair Artist crafted gorgeous, effortless curls that perfectly captured Danielle’s hairstyle. Meanwhile, Jessica from La Haltejo Boutique added an ombre acrylic set to Danielle’s nails, completing the look with a touch of sophistication.
Wedding Cake & Stationery Inspiration
The stunning cake designed by Dirty Peach was a standout feature of the shoot, with its unique textures adding an extra layer of visual interest. Meanwhile, Something Fresh Designs crafted stationery that perfectly complemented the theme and overall aesthetic. A heartfelt thank you is owed to the incredible vendors who brought this vision to life.
As Mizelle from Golden Lily Photography so eloquently put it, ‘I would like to give a huge shoutout and massive thank you to the vendors who made this dream a reality. They are the best in the biz!
‘The team behind this beautiful production included Golden Lily Photography for photography, Wild Iris Films for videography, Bellflower Studios for decor and flowers, Estelle Visser Designs for dresses, The Ultimate Image for makeup, C-Morr Hair Artist’s Charlize for hairstyling, Dirty Peach Cake Boutique for cake, Something Fresh Designs for stationery, La Haltejo Boutique for the model’s nails, and Danielle Cassim & Jatil as the models themselves.
