ULTRA-ROMANTIC LOST IN BLUSH SHOOT
Talented photographer Zeone from The Lightbulb Photography brought her unique vision to life with this ultra-romantic shoot. Her meticulous attention to detail is what sets her apart, making her a highly sought-after photographer in the industry. The session’s beauty was largely due to her distinct style, which effortlessly captured each intricate detail.

HELLO TIMBER WEDDING VENUE
The Lightbulb Photography had the pleasure of collaborating with Timber, an esteemed sister venue to the iconic Lace on Timber, for their Lost in Blush Styled Shoot. This modern gem boasts a clean and minimal aesthetic, making it an ideal setting for intimate weddings that exude a sense of contemporary charm. As a blank canvas, Timber presents a unique opportunity for brides-to-be to bring their vision to life and create an unforgettable celebration.
WEDDING DÉCOR & FLOWERS
We aimed to create a modern yet romantic atmosphere for this styled shoot by incorporating carefully curated décor elements. With the guidance of All Things Wedding, we designed a table setting that exuded timeless elegance. Soft, blush-toned flowers complemented by whites and creams provided a romantic ambiance, while hints of gold added a touch of sophistication.
To further enhance the modern feel, we selected the Gold Johnny Café Chair from Reserved Exclusive and paired it with textured glassware for an air of refinement. Modern metal candlesticks and two-tone cutlery added a sleek, contemporary touch to the table setting. The stationery also played a crucial role in completing the look, as its consistent style carried through the entire design.
For an added personal touch, we incorporated name placements on beautiful handmade paper, mirroring the elegance of the overall concept. This attention to detail and commitment to perfection resulted in a unique and memorable experience for our guests.
BRIDAL HAIR AND MAKE-UP
For the Lost in Blush shoot, we aimed to create a soft, romantic yet modern hairstyle and makeup look for our model. We achieved this by creating beautiful, effortless waves on one side of her face and adding a touch of elegance with a stunning diamant hair comb. To enhance her natural beauty, we opted for a subtle pink lip color and applied mauve and pink blush tones to give her skin a healthy glow.
We also defined her eyes with a dramatic eyeliner look and added long lashes to really make them stand out.
BLUSH WEDDING DRESS
As the big day approached, Natasha slipped into a breathtakingly beautiful Textured blush wedding gown designed by Marlize Meeding, perfectly complementing her radiant glow. Marchant, dashing in his simple yet elegant black suit, served as the perfect foil to her ethereal elegance. The bouquet was a masterclass in romance, featuring an assortment of delicate flowers including white peonies and blush roses, subtly accented with gold leaves that added a touch of sophistication.
A hand-coloured chiffon ribbon beautifully finished off the arrangement, its vibrant hue providing a striking contrast to Natasha’s textured blush dress.
THE WEDDING CAKE
For Melinda’s Kitchen, I envisioned a cake that would harmonize with the styled shoot’s modern yet romantic ambiance. To achieve this, I crafted a four-tiered masterpiece featuring varying heights to create an elegant silhouette. The top tier boasted a sleek white ganache finish, while the middle layer showcased torn rice paper for added texture. Next, blush-hued desiccated coconut lent its softness to the proceedings.
The foundation of the design was built upon by a bottom tier clad in plush, blush-toned marble fondant. Finally, delicate roses in shades of blush pink and cream were carefully arranged to infuse the entire structure with an air of romance.

Melinda’s Kitchen whipped up a delicious cake and guest favours, while Deeply Rooted Design Lasercutting crafted unique stationery. Hair and makeup were handled by Hair & Makeup by Liesl, and special touches included ring boxes from Sweetpea Elegant Packaging and bridal accessories from Smooches Bridal.
Marchant and Natasha took on the roles of beautiful models, rounding out this dream team.
