Wedding Vendor Workshop At Loch Lynne
Our third Wedding Vendor Workshop took place on November 30th, 2022, at the picturesque Loch Lynne Estate. This unique event brought together wedding industry professionals to network and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the ever-evolving sector. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Summerheart Photography and Reel Productions for capturing the special moments from this day.
The Wedding Workshop
As the morning unfolded, attendees began arriving at the event venue, where they were warmly greeted by the inviting aroma of specialty coffee from Yum Factor. A curated selection of juices was also on hand to quench any thirst, alongside a convenient sign-in station and name badge distribution – the perfect way to set a welcoming tone for the day ahead.
All Things Contract Related
Leani Steenkamp from The Legal Stuff kicked off the event with an informative talk on contracts, delving into the essential basics for setting up successful agreements between service providers and clients. This was followed by a 30-minute social media session led by one of our own team members, highlighting the benefits of using META Business to manage online platforms.
As the morning progressed, attendees took a short break to indulge in an array of delectable canapés courtesy of The Velvet Effect. Complimentary coffee and refreshing gin and cider drinks from Keg Hire kept spirits high.
Meanwhile, Yellow Lemon Booth had everyone entertained with their pink photo booth setup, gifting each guest with a lovely photo strip as a memento of the day.
The Panel Discussion
We were thrilled to host a panel discussion with industry professionals at our latest workshop, featuring Tracy from Trunk Event, Mabel from Mabel M Florals, Andre from Vivid Blue, and Didi from Didi Couture. This esteemed panel shared their insights and offered valuable advice to attendees. The discussion culminated in an open floor conversation about the wedding industry in South Africa, with a focus on strategies for achieving success in 2023.
As a special treat, we gifted all participants with delectable macarons courtesy of Kos Kouture, leaving everyone feeling inspired and satisfied.
