The Nutrihome Juicer offers lower pricing for many features usually found only in higher-priced competitors. A fully functioning masticating juicer.
Is this the cost-effective solution to trying out a masticating juicer?
Nutrihome provides exceptionally high yields and a dryer pulp with a wider variety of ingredients than with most alternatives in this price range. This may just be the budget juicer you were looking for!
“Expensive Features, Quality & Economical Price”
The Nutrihome Juicer “Sort of” Review
I hope you noticed how it too the pineapple into the auger and masticated through the small hole at the end. The juice was also strained as it was squeezed out to produce a low foam almost pulp-free juice.
Let’s look at the Pros and Cons:
Nutrihome Juicer Pros
- Attractive Design – Not too large and easy to store away. Very vibrant colour.
- Heavy Duty Construction – Feels sturdy for this price point and it also only weighs 8-pounds. That means you can move it around the kitchen and even put it away!
- High Yield – Since masticating ‘squeeze’ the juice from the food as it travels along the auger, you will get a better yield.
- Minimal Froth – Maximum Nutrients extracted and a longer shelf life
- Great Customer Service – Five Star Factory Support and Service
- Dishwasher Safe Components – Readily Available & Dishwasher Safe Components
Nutrihome Juicer Cons
- Long Juicing time – Masticating Juicers are not the quickest of the juicers but you do get high extraction from the food you are juicing.
- More prep required – The Nutrihome requires food to be cut into appropriate sizes to manage the auger effectively. Otherwise, it may just damage the motor.
- Overheating Cut-out – After 10-Minutes of operation, there is a 10-minute Cool Down.
- Plastic – The whole juicer is constructed of plastic apart from the mesh filter. It is BPA free which may put your mind as some ease though.
Obviously, if you haven’t read our article on Masticating vs Centrifugal Juicers and you don’t know much about which is which, then I suggest you take a minute to understand the difference. For some of the more experienced juicers, there is only one form of juicer and that is masticating.
The Finer Details
As we all become more health-conscious, and a 12 ounce bottle of water & “nutritional drinks” continue to cost as much as 3 times (or more) the price of the same quantity of gasoline, the popularity of juicing continues to explode, as do the number of juicer’s “brands” in the marketplace.
The Nutrihome Juicer is built to process the same varieties and quantities of food as machines costing much, much more. (Have a look at the cost of the Super Angel Deluxe – but it is excellent!) It is ideal for those who are serious about health and nutrition, who have been and will be for a while. With proper operation and cleaning, this machine should accommodate frequent daily use and the one year warranty will offer you some comfort there too.
Not only is the one year warranty incredible for this budget juicer, but Nutrihome offer a 30-day money back guarantee, to try it out and see if it really can live up to all the hype!
Note this juicer is not for commercial use, so don’t expect to produce high volumes of juice on a glass-by-glass or “per-order” basis. High yields require time to extract all of the juice, nutrients, and flavour from fresh ingredients.
A single serving may require 3 – 5 minutes of processing – or more. On the other hand, that same slow process reduces froth … which reduces oxidation, and that helps to extend shelf-life for the juice that can be refrigerated and stored for later on.
The Nutrihome Juicer also comes with a reverse function to prevent jamming and damage to your machine. This sort of feature is very useful when you are juicing dryer vegetables that require a little more liquid to help them pass through.
The feeding chute is large, but it isn’t suitable for putting in whole fruits so ensure you are cutting your fruits and veg up to a manageable size. That way you can extract a high quantity of juice. You could even pass the pulp through for a second run to ‘squeeze’ even more juice out and maximise your juicer.
I think it should be noted that noise is not an issue with the Nutrihome either. Many centrifugal juicers are so loud you cannot hear yourself speak, but then they work exceptionally fast and generally have high waste. Masticating juicers are quieter, and at 80 rpm, slower too, but it is ‘squeezing’ all that goodness from your food!
This juicer is also compact (11.8” x 6.5” x 13.7”) and will sit on your countertop or in your cupboard with ease. That along with easy, dishwasher safe parts means you are done in a few minutes, cleaning and finishing up.
It should also be mentioned that you get the WHOLE package when you buy this juicer. All accessories are included which comes as a welcome relief as even the most expensive juicer I have reviewed still offers a further accessory to purchase!
I cannot help but address the plastic in this juicer, and for me, that is one of the let downs. It doesn’t contain BPA, is high grade and safe, but you just cannot beat stainless steel for contamination free juicing. (Assuming your cleaning technique is excellent)
To sell this product for such a low price, I would expect it to be plastic but it is still a concern that some might feel outweighs the cost-saving benefits if your health is directly reliant on this machine.

Among all the products being advertised as juicers on the market, no matter the price tag, many are over-priced, cheap imitations or do nothing more than a household blender. Even among true “juicers”, very few offer the exceptionally cost-effective mix of proven reliability, diversity and results as the Nutrihome Masticating Juice Extractor. A real winner in my book!
It would be super to hear your thoughts on this masticating juicer. Are you thinking of moving up from a centrifugal juicer or do you swear by them? Have a great recipe to share, then drop me a comment. Really looking forward to hearing from you and thanks for stopping by.
